MT5 Trade Copier and Prop Firm Accounts: Rules to Check First

Many traders copy from a personal master into challenge or funded MT5 accounts. Trade Copierr can connect multiple followers with different lot rules, but only you can confirm whether a firm allows trade copying, EAs, or third-party automation. Never assume—read the latest firm terms.

One follower per firm account

Give each prop login its own follower terminal and lot cap. Mixing two firm accounts on one terminal profile invites login and symbol confusion.

Size for the firm’s drawdown rules

Use multipliers or fixed lots small enough for the account’s daily loss limit. Copying the same master lot onto a 10k and a 200k account is rarely appropriate.

Document your setup

Keep a short log of master ticket, follower ticket, and copier message for the first week. If support asks how trades were placed, you can show EA-driven copies rather than unexplained manual entries.

Demo checklist (five minutes)

  1. One market entry on the master.
  2. Move SL or TP once.
  3. Close the position and confirm follower flat.

Trade Copierr provides hosted copier infrastructure and licensed EAs; results still depend on broker rules, symbol mapping, margin, and your lot settings. Use demo until the behavior matches your plan.
