What to Check During the First Week of an EA Rental
The first week of an EA rental should be treated as an evaluation period, not a race to increase the lot size. Keep the setup boring: one account, known settings, a short journal, and enough time to understand how the tool behaves.
Record the starting setup
Note the terminal version, broker, account mode, symbol list, timeframe, inputs, and whether AutoTrading is enabled. A screenshot of the settings is useful when you need to compare a later result.
Keep a trade journal
Record why a trade opened, the configured risk, the actual spread, and whether the stop or target was modified. This separates an installation issue from a strategy decision.
Review conditions, not just wins
Look at drawdown, missed trades, spread changes, news periods, and terminal messages. A short profitable sample does not prove that the EA fits every account or market condition.
A sensible way to test it
- Write down the expected result before sending the demo trade.
- Check the terminal history and the copier logs, not only the chart.
- Change one setting at a time so you know which adjustment fixed the issue.
TradeCopierr is designed to make the copying route easier to inspect, but the final setup still depends on your broker, account type, symbols, permissions, and chosen settings. Use a demo account while you are learning the behavior, then decide whether the setup is appropriate for your own risk plan.
